We have a vision made up of 3 strands:
WORSHIP > Seeking to worship God in all aspects of our lives
FAMILY > Building strong and caring relationships with each other as part of God's family
OUTREACH > Reaching out to people to share the love of God with them
Worship
We do this personally in regular time with the Lord in prayer and Bible reading, and involving Him in every area of the routines of life. This includes worship through sacrifice of time and money.
We do this corporately with music, prayer, silence, exercising the spiritual gifts and in other creative ways. Corporate gatherings should encourage us to worship God personally throughout the week.
Family
From our close walk in relationship with "Our Father" we are able to build close relationships with one another. This is demonstrated through practical love and a commitment together to grow in following Jesus Christ more closely. Attending midweek or Sunday meetings is only one way of building relationally, and we seek to have genuine friendships beyond meetings. We want our family to be inclusive of all, but those who lead others and therefore shape the values should have clear pastoral covering and be open to loving correction and discipleship.
Outreach
We want each member of the family to be concerned for those who do not know the Lord. This is demonstrated through prayer for friends and family and intentionally seeking to communicate the love of Jesus Christ. We run courses such as the Alpha course that can help build bridges into God’s Kingdom and we are committed to serving in the local community, especially in the Keble Road area.
